ABOUT MELISSA

Melissa's love for Art & Makeup started at a very early age. She loved to draw, paint, and have coloring contest with her mother. In her teens Melissa found herself interested and excited to help her grandmother sell, apply and bag AVON products to deliver to her grandmothers clients. Receiving AVON boxes was the highlight of her week, usually meant she had extra makeup/product samples to play with. 

Utilizing her talent she put her artistic passion to use by doing her friends, family and grandmothers makeup before a night on the town.  
Realizing through the process that although she enjoyed the external beauty of her work she received more joy by what it did and would do to the spirit of her and her client(s) soul. Makeup artistry became much more to her than just the surface.

Although she considered herself a self taught makeup artist for many years she decided to educate herself and become trained in her field, receiving certificates in traditional, high fashion, hd, airbrush makeup for beauty, bridal, film/tv, entertainment and print. Over the years Melissa has worked on many clients and her expertise in choosing makeup that matches the skin type/tone, personality, lifestyle are of high importance to her. She listens to her clients vision and offers her input to help create a look that will look best on them. She continues to educate herself in the current trends, techniques and what's hot in the market, investing in a wide range of high quality makeup & skin care brands/products. 

Melissa gives her absolute best in her work and is grateful for all her word of mouth referrals.

Every single one of her clients are celebrities to her and wants them to feel nothing less than that when they leave her makeup chair.
